Experienced in Artistic direction, leadership, team building and mentoring emerging artists.

Senior lecturer in acting/Theatre director/arts leader/actor with 25 years experience at the highest level in Australia's performing arts and actor training sectors. Particular skills in theatre direction, Shakespeare in performance, staff management, leadership, budgeting, actor training and education.

Currently I am Lecturer in Acting for W.A.A.P.A (Western Australian Academy of Arts).  

From 2017-2021 I was the Director of Drama for the National Theatre Drama School in Melbourne Australia.

As a director and educator I have worked for W.A.A.P.A, The V.C.A. MTC Education, Bell Shakespeare, Red Stitch Actors Theatre, Spiegeltent Melbourne, St Martins Youth Theatre, Monash and La Trobe universities and The National Theatre Drama School. I am a teaching artist for Bell Shakespeare and internationally for ISTA (International Schools Theatre Association). 

 

As an actor I was one of the 12 performers who formed Red Stitch Actors Theatre. I have toured nationally with Bell Shakespeare, played the title role in Macbeth for MTC education and was also seen on the main stage at MTC in David Williamson’s Scarlett O’Hara at the Crimson Parrot.

Most recently I toured Victoria in the new Australian verse play Boy out of the country by Felix Nobis with TV and film projects including Romper Stomper, the short film Cassini directed by Jack Rintoul, playing the inventor of the Cassini space probe and Duke directed by Joe Betros.
